01 – Event Decoration policies for Weddings, Birthday & Other event decor services.
1.1. Decoration Selection:
- Reference images will be provided to help finalize decoration choices.
- Clients may choose from our portfolio, reference images, or share their ideas and inspirations from any open source.
- The finalised decor models will be collated for work flow.
- Our decor catalog exclusively showcases original works created by us. All images and designs are protected under copyright law Copyright Act, 1957.Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our catalog content is strictly prohibited. Access to and use of our designs are only granted to clients who book our services.
1.2. Color and Outcome:
- While we strive for an 80–90% match to the reference images, slight variations in color and appearance may occur.
1.3. Flowers & Balloons for Decor:
- We use only natural, fresh flowers for wedding decorations. Color combinations may vary slightly depending on availability in the market.
- Balloons variety are subjected to market availability and also the budget based on the final Invoice.
1.4. Venue Considerations:
- All decorations for churches, banquet halls, or open venues should be confirmed onsite to ensure proper arrangements.
1.5. Lighting and Ambience:
- We are not responsible for low lighting in the venue if we do not have the scope for lighting works (e.g., churches, Indoor venues) that may impact the overall look of the decorations.
- Lighting requirements for decorations should be discussed in advance, and the client must confirm available power sources.
1.6. Flower Removal and Prop Policy:
- Clients may take home fresh flowers after the event.
- Props and decorative items provided by us are not to be taken by the client. Additional charges may apply if items are requested to be taken.
02.Photography and Videography services:
2.1. Event Coverage:
- Hours of Service: Coverage hours will be specified in the Billing / contract / Schedule, and additional hours may be added at an hourly rate.
- Shot List and Requirements: Clients should provide any specific shot requests or key moments that need to be captured at least [number] days before the event.
- Any special attention to be covered for the video to be informed prior to our event manager / Photographer.
- Guest Interference: We request cooperation from guests to avoid interference during key moments. Excessive interference may impact the quality of the final product.
- Exclusive Rights: Salt & Light Events is the exclusive photographer/videographer for the event. Other photographers may only be allowed by prior agreement.
- Complimentary photo/ Video shoots to be availed within 1 month pre or post to the event date as per package guidelines.
- Complimentary photo shoots cannot be clubbed or availed with any other event shoots.
- Deliverables and Timeline:( PROCESS FLOW )
- All Unlimited event pics will be shared as JPG format via Online transfer or with Master link from AI Tool. ( within 7 days or before from the event date ).
- We currently use AI & Face recognition tool for guest delivery pics.
- Album photo selection process :
- Album photos needed to be selected as per packages using the photo selection link and shared to us in the below given format within 21 days from the event date.
- Any wordings, quotes or bible verses to be added in pics to be noted separately along with the pic number.
Album Designing, Correction & Printing process.
- The designed album draft will be shared as a PDF file. ( within 14 Business days from the photo selected and given date )
- The Album draft file is valid for 10 business days to notify for any correction or printing confirmation.
- If there is no corrections upon confirmation the printed album will be delivered within 14 business days.
- For express delivery – Rs.2500 at extra cost. ( Max 3 Days )
Editing and Revisions:
- Standard Edits: All photos and videos will undergo standard edits, including color correction and cropping.
- Revisions: Two round of minor revisions is included in the service. Additional edits are subject to additional cost based on edits or revisions. Min Rs.1500 /- per edit file.
- The 1st & 2nd Draft can be used for Corrections such as addition or deletion of pics.
- Corrections from the draft to be marked clearly with page numbers and comments.
- The final Album draft file will be valid for Max 10 business days.
- If no corrections or approval is made this will be considered as the final album and the printed copy will be delivered within 14 business days.
Video Editing:
- Client-Specific Edits: Any specific requests for video effects, song selections, or photo styles must be communicated before the editing process begins.
- For Videos creations the specific audio files to be shared prior.
- Final videos will be uploaded in YouTube(Salt & Light Events) and the link will be shared accordingly. For any privacy concern please do inform us in prior to avoid public views.
- Ownership and Copyright:
- Salt & Light Events retains copyright ownership of all images and videos. Clients receive a license for personal use only.
- Clients may not sell, alter, or distribute the photos or videos for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Salt & Light Events may use selected images or video segments for promotional and social media purposes unless the client requests.
- By hiring us, you consent to have photos or videos taken of all event participants, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Clients must inform their guests that photography and videography will be conducted during the event and obtain any necessary permissions.
- Liability and Limitations:
- Service Guarantee: While we take every precaution to ensure quality, factors like weather, lighting, and venue restrictions may impact the final product.
- Equipment Failure: In the unlikely event of equipment failure or unforeseen circumstances, However Salt 7 Light Events will take reasonable measures to cover any missed portions, but total liability is limited to the contract fee.
- Event Location Restrictions: We are not liable for coverage restrictions due to venue policies, lighting limitations, or interference from other vendors.
- In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, illness), we may reschedule based on the specific situation. Cancellation with full refund is not applicable owever based on situations partial refund may apply.
- Additional Services:
- Any additional services or requests outside the scope of the initial agreement will incur extra fees and may require an updated contract.
Policies:
- Usage Policy:
- Photos and videos are for the client’s private use only. Any use beyond private use must be approved by Salt & Light Events.
- Delivery Policy:
- Final products will be delivered within 60 Days from the approved date. Digital downloads are generally provided, but other options may be arranged if preferred.
- Privacy Policy:
- All personal information collected during the booking process is confidential. We do not share client information with third parties unless it pertains to the completion of services.
- Refund Policy:
- Refunds for cancellations follow the terms outlined above. Refunds for dissatisfaction with the service are not issued, as quality is guaranteed through the contract and the standard editing process.
- Social Media Policy:
- We may share selected images or video clips on our social media platforms as part of our portfolio, unless the client requests otherwise in advance.
03 – Catering & Hospitality
03.Catering
Kindly note our Kitchen Rules
- 1 Salt & Light events have our own inhouse Outdoor & Indoor Catering Unit. (We are not a outsourced caters only upon special needs)
- 2. Package menu and rates are applicable based on availability-Refer Catering Catalogue.
- 3. We serve from 50 – 5000 PAX.
- 4 From orders above 350 we prefer to cook in the event venue and for below 350 PAX orders we prepare and ship from our kitchen.
- 5. Our food ratio portion for Non-Veg is 1:1.5 ( Rice 1 KG & Meet 1.5 KG )
- 6.We give extra 10% of buffer count to the actual count.
- 7. Package cost includes of banana leaf, paper roll, serving and cleaning ( Table cleaning only ).
- 8. Package cost includes of all cutlery & crockery items for BUFFET SERVING
- 9. Cost does not include of Dinning table, chairs, wash basins and Table dressing etc. ( Tables & Chair will be arranged at extra cost upon request )
- 10. TIPS for our service boys are encouraged after the service and can be handed over to the catering supervisor in the presence of our event manager.
- 11. Salt & Light Events will not be responsible for any shortage of food during the event.
- 12. Excess food will be packed or transferred to vessels upon request.

- Artificial flavours and ingredients to add taste.
- No reuse oil , palm oil and Vanaspathi.
- No MSG – Mono sodium Gluconate.

- Fresh and Tender Meat only.
- We only use branded curd, sunflower oil and ghee.
- We use only branded provisional items.

POLICIES – BOOKING, PAYMENT & CANCELLATIONS
1.Booking Confirmation:
- Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of a signed contract or the booking Advance payment mentioned in the billing estimation / invoice for the services offered.
- Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.
- We recommend booking at least 4-5 months in advance to ensure availability for your event date.
1.1 Event Details:
- Clients are required to provide all event details, including date, time, venue, and specific requirements, upon booking.
- Significant changes to event details after the booking may affect service availability or require additional fees.
1.2 Service Inclusions and Exclusions:
- The scope of services included in the booking will be specified in the contract / Estimation / Invoice. Any services not outlined in the will be considered additional and may incur extra charges.
- The company reserves the right to refuse additional requests made after the contract / billing is signed if resources or time do not permit.
- Payment Policy:
2.1 Deposit and Payment Schedule:
- A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total event cost is required to secure the booking.
- The remaining balance in 2 – 3 schedules is due as per mentioned timelines in the billing. 2nd payment of 70 % prior to the event start date & 10% on the final day of events.
- Failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation or postponement of services.
2.2 Accepted Payment Methods:
- Payments can be made via [accepted methods such as bank transfer, credit/debit card, UPI, etc.].
- Any transaction fees related to the payment methods are the client’s responsibility.
2.3 Late Payment Fees:
- Late payments may incur additional charges. If the balance is not settled by the due date, a late fee of 10% from the balance amount may be applied to the outstanding balance.
- Cancellations Policy:
3.1 Client-Initiated Cancellation:
- cancellations will be accepted within 60 days and the amount will be credited within 14 usiness to the clients account.
3.2 Cancellation Fees:
- A cancellation fee may apply if the client cancels within a certain timeframe. This fee covers any preparation, planning, or resources already allocated to the event.
3.3 Company-Initiated Cancellation:
- If we must cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, clients will receive a full refund or may opt to reschedule the event at no additional cost.
For cancellations due to force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics), options for rescheduling or partial refunds will be discussed based on the specific situation.
